Muscat-Verduc is a sweet type of wine produced on the basis of yellow Muscat and an old Brda variety – Verduc. Muscat has an elegant scent, it is a full-bodied wine and what accompanies a long-lasting taste on the palate is the characteristic Verduc aroma of honeyed acacia. Sommelier's recommendationIt is recommended to serve Sweet Muscat-Verduc wine together with almost any kind of desserts: Prekmurje and Bela Krajina cake (known as 'gibanica'), nut roll, pancakes with nuts, hazelnut cake, Pohorje omelette, stuffed pears, dry-fruit cake. It is also a perfect choice to be served together with blue cheese, e.g. Roquefort. |
